About Bob

 Robert Kezer

This site holds the text of God Refined: A Proposal for Peace, and some of my writing that has been published or submitted for publication.

I left my home in Alaska at the end of 2001 following my desire to participate at a higher level in bringing about a less violent world. I do not believe peace is preordained, but I do believe it is achievable. How bad the violence must first become though, is up to us.

I returned to college at 43-years of age and graduated in 2006 from the Universtiy of Oregon with degrees in International Studies and Religious Studies with a minor in Spanish. My focus was Peace Studies. I then took a year off to backpack around southern Spain with my son Zak, and to catch up on putting some of my thoughts on paper.

In September of 2007 I began a 3-year Masters program in Integral Theory sponsored jointly by J.F.K. University in San Francisco and the Integral Institute in Denver Colorado. My future academic path is unclear at hte moment, but may include studies in alternative medicine and various forms of energetic healing. While I hope my writing is financially successful, I also have a strong need to help others in more direct ways.

I have recently started my first work of fiction titled, Calle Elvira. It takes place in Granada, Spain, and will give people the hope, vision, and tools required to elevate our world's level of consciousness one person at a time.

Zak is my only child: He has been my primary teacher and the light of my life for the last couple of decades. My interests are many and varied, and often point me toward the beach - ¡la playa nudista, por supesto! While the issues of which I write are heavy, I have learned that life itself is to be held lightly: our world is in desperate need of more fun, love, and laughter and helping to bring that about is one of my greatest joys.

Ciao,
Bobby
